Floaty and airy, jolly and jubilant

Poetic and reverent.

Key Tasks / Notes

The minstrels are all similarly styled, they should feel almost like clones or a band of identical chorus members that bleed into one character.

MRS GALAHAD

Role Function

A surly and gruff counterpart to Dennis who shares in his overly political view of the world she inhabits

Energy / Comedy Style

Boisterous and rough, she is a grizzly and beastlike peasant who shambles about in rags

Voice / Movement

High-pitched and squeaky, sharp and comically expressive

Key Tasks / Notes

Her role fluctuates between bouncing off of Dennis and flirting with Arthur.

AUDITION TIPS:
This doesn’t need to be a 1:1 of the film/other stage versions. If you can’t quite get your voice that high, find a comparably silly voice that works for you. If you’d rather go deep and burly that works too.
