PEASANT VILLAGERS

Role Function:    Poor and sickly, Everyday folk     

Scenes: Act 1, Scene 4

Energy / Comedy Style:  Expressive and surprisingly lively              

Voice / Movement: Cheery, jaunty and oddly happy

HOLY MONKS

Role Function: Assist in scene transitions, Hit their heads with big ol bibles. Subtext.         

Scenes / Moments: Act 1, Scene 4 , Act 1, Scene 8, Act 2, Scene 11

NI KNIGHTS

Role Function: Henchmen of the Knight of Ni      

Scenes / Moments: Act 2, Scene 2,  Act 2, Scene 5

Energy / Comedy Style:  Quick, Jittery, contained movements.      

Voice / Movement: High-pitched squeals

ENSEMBLE KNIGHTS

Role Function: Assist in scene changes and transitions     

Scenes / Moments: Virtually all of them.

Energy / Comedy Style:  Bumbling at times, frantic, silly. 

Voice / Movement: Simple and very blunt

​

AUDITION TIPS: We want to see how you react to a quick scene change, or character change. Going from one thing to another while maintaining composure, and deliver clear and readable facial expressions when prompted.
